Bulldogs ousted in gm 1

The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated 2-1 by the Houston Aeros on Friday night. The ‘Dogs outshot the Aeros 39-28 but Houston goaltender Matt Hackett stopped all but one of the shots he faced to earn the win for the Aeros. Despite taking so many shots the Bulldogs still showed great pressure throughout the game but couldn’t solve the brilliance of Matt Hackett. The Bulldogs PP also left them hanging when they had great opportunities to get the game tied.
