Hamilton Bulldogs Playoff Report

Hamilton Bulldogs have a 2-0 series lead over the Manitoba Moose in the second round of the AHL playoffs.

Game#1: Manitoba Moose at Hamilton Bulldogs 1-4 Final

Game#2: Manitoba Moose at Hamilton Bulldogs 2-4 Final

In game 1 – Ryan Russell, Aaron Palushaj,  Nigel Dawes, J.T. Wyman scored the 4 goals for the Bulldogs while Alexandre Bolduc scored the lone goal for the Moose. Drew MacIntyre stopped 19 of 20 shots and was the key man on the penalty kills. Eddie Lack of the Manitoba Moose stopped 33 of 37 shots. The Bulldogs went 2/10 on the powerplay and the Moose went 0/5 on the powerplay

In game 2 – Mathieu Carle, Ryan Russell, Gabriel Dumont (2) combined for the 4 goals for the Bulldogs and Kevin Clark, Chris Tanev scored for the Moose. Drew MacIntyre made 24 saves on 26 shots he faced and his counter partner  stopped 27 of 30 shots that he faced. The Bulldogs went 1/4 on the powerplay while the Moose went 0/5 on the powerplay for the second straight game.

Hamilton Bulldogs Player Stats Playoffs: Nigel Dawes leads the team in goals (6) and points (10). Dustin Boyd leads the team in assists (7).

D Alex Henry has broken the franchise record for most playoff games played by a Bulldog with 43, passing Craig Millar and Chad Hinz who played 42 games. Henry also sits 2nd in the AHL playoffs with 23 penalty minutes.

G Drew MacIntyre is 1st in the league in save percentage after eight games with a .943 SV% and tied for second in the AHL in goals-against-average with a 1.64 GAA. He has now won 14 of his last 17 games and has started the past 29-straight „Dogs games dating back to the regular season.
